The Future of Energy Investing

by Thomson Reuters

The energy bellwethers of today will have some unlikely company in the future. • Nuclear fusion
  • Solar photovoltaics
  • Certain other renewables/alternatives

Companies steeped in the production of oil, gas and petroleum reserves have the potential to encounter stranded assets on their balance sheets.

A major disruption will unfold in the energy space and it’s imperative that buy-side analysts and wealth management investors pay attention to these changing dynamics.
